Sonas Guesthouse – A Favorite for Families in Edinburgh

Guests receive a free full breakfast each morning, with items like porridge pots, juice, and brioche rolls left in the room. The guesthouse offers free on-site parking at the rear of the property and provides access to kitchen facilities and common areas. Strong WiFi connectivity is available throughout the building, and daily housekeeping keeps rooms in order.

Each of the 14 en-suite bedrooms has a private modern bathroom and a multi-channel flat-screen TV. High-quality bedding and historic 19th-century features, such as original Victorian decor, are retained in the converted villa. Room options range from single rooms with external private bathrooms to deluxe doubles, twin rooms, king rooms, and junior suites.

The guesthouse sits in a residential area 20 minutes on foot from Holyrood Park and the Royal Mile. Edinburgh Castle is 2 miles away, and Waverley Railway Station is a 25-minute walk. A bus stop 3 minutes from the door provides frequent service to Princes Street and the city centre.

Staff provide personalized attention and community engagement tips, with a booklet of local restaurant and bus recommendations in each room. Luggage storage is offered, and accessible parking spaces are available at the rear. Fire extinguishers and smoke alarms are installed throughout the building.
